We are getting down to the last legacy Hannah’s. I never met George but remember his father Uncle George and his mother Fahema. I have spent most of my life west of the Mississippi. Praying for love and peace as we embark on this new chapter. RIP and say hello to those who proceeded you.

Thank you George for all the spicy conversations and laughs at the flower shop. It was an absolute honor to have gotten to know you and I'm blessed to have been able to share that time with you. Rest in peace

To the Hannah Family,
I’m so sorry for your great loss. I didn’t know George that well, but I used to go to the shop as a kid for flowers. Especially doing all the School Plays. He was always so very kind and gave us good deals. It was so nice to see his life story in his obituary , finding out that he served in the military too. Thank you Mr Hannah for serving our country. God bless you all.

Memory. Calling from a Sat phone to the shop from East Africa deployment to send flowers to Gramma Joan, Girl Friend, and my Aunt Laurie. No way to pay for it from there in 04/05. (From a tent) he just put it on tab. We squared it when I got back 10 months later. I first met him when I was 16 just came up from Texas. Id walk from Ballston Spa high school grab a slice next door and get flowers for gramma Joan. He always had advice for me, but only if I asked. He never suggested or inferred. I grew to ask him about life in general. I left and joined and always came back to Anna's.
For a conversation. To me he was a great mentor from 16 years old to current. The flowers were not that important, it was the gesture.
Condolence. To me. He was a great man. HOOYA! (I know they do not say that in the Army or NG.) So. Cheers. Mike ill visit.

I’ll never forget how kind he was to stop by every summer to see dad (hi sammy!) and Henry and Uncle Charlie. I always knew his voice walking up the driveway before I saying , how ya doing Dell! What an amazing guy!
I am so happy I got to see him and take a picture with my uncle Georgie in front of church last summer (2024)
One thing I do know is that it is one awesome party up there in heaven. Aunt carol and all the other Hannah’s- I’m going to miss him. I love you guys and I hope to see y’all soon in Florida or New York.

George was always upbeat and quick witted., I enjoyed spending time with him and hearing about his military adventures but nothing trumped his family… They were and always be his world.
