Obituary of Gale L. Walsh

Town of Wilton, NY Gale L. (Bartlett) Walsh passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Monday September 1, 2025. She was born on May 27, 1947, in Framingham, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Anna Korpita Bartlett. Gale married the love of her life Donald A. Walsh Sr. Together; they raised three daughters. The family moved from Massachusetts to Wilton in 1968. She was an activities worker for the Wesley Nursing home for 25 years and made many many friends there. Gale was a loving mother, grandmother and close friend to many. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years Don in 2015, her brother Richard Bartlett, her loving foster parents Ike and Gerry Bourette. Gale is survived by her daughters Patricia Amiss, Carol (Ernest) Johnson, Donna (Ron) Gardner, her brothers Kenny (Elaine) Bartlett, Harry Shaughnessy, her sisters Joan (Don) Hansen, Marleene Cahoon, her grandchildren Leeann Hamm, Melissa Sonia, Megan Wine, Ashley Ellis, Tyler Johnson, Nathanael Johnson, as well as many great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Saratoga Hospital and Albany Medical Center for their hospitality and kindness to Gale during her final days. There will be no funeral or calling hours per Gale's wishes.
