He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Anna M. Gorham McDougal.
Richard served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam
Survivors his brother: Thomas Robert McDougal, his aunt Elayne Hatin, friends and caregivers John and Carolyn Zappola,
Committal service with military honors September 1, 2010 at 11:00 am at Saratoga National Cemetery.
