Obituary of Judith A. Lamb

Dateline: Clifton Park, NY Lamb, Judith Ann (Belski), 64, of Clifton Park, NY passed away peacefully at the St. Peter's Hospice Inn surrounded by her loving family on Thursday April 15, 2010 after a short illness. Born in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Geraldine B. (Salmon) Belski Jr. She is survived by her husband Stephen, and her children Stephanie (James) Hall of Clifton Park and Scott (Jennifer) Lamb of Guilderland, NY. She is the beloved grandmother, "GiGi", of Morgan Rose Hall, who will miss her greatly. Judy was a graduate of Guilderland High School. Judy began her career working for the New York Telephone Company, and then went back to work as a substitute for Shenendehowa Central School District. She also worked for the Tri-Line Corporation, as well as keeping books for her husband's business. Judy worked as secretary to the Clifton Park Zoning Board of Appeals, and had recently retired from the Town of Clifton Park Justice Court as a Court Clerk. Judy volunteered for the PTSA at Skano Elementary and Shenendehowa High School. She also worked as a Coordinator for the Saratoga County Cultural Arts Council. Judy enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking, playing bridge, and entertaining--hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the Fourth of July parties. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. She was a strong supporter of the March of Dimes and a team member for Morgan's Marchers. Calling hours will be at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa on Sunday, April 18 from 2 pm- 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St, Mary's Church, Ballston Spa on Monday, April 19 at 9am. Burial will follow at Jonesville Cemetery The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the March of Dimes-80 Wolf Road, Albany, NY 12205 or Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
