Ballston Spa, NY Philomena M. Conte 100 Philomena died at The Home of the Good Shepherd on March 29, 2010. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY, the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Maria Cardenuto Maccardy. She retired from N.Y. Telephone, Saratoga Springs in 1973 Philomena was a member of Ballston Area Senior Citizens and a member of the senior choir She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Virgin Mary Society She was predeceased by her husband Frank Conte, her sister, Anne DiPasquale and her brothers, Anthony Maccardy, Vincent Maccardy and Michael (Maccardy) McCarthy Survivors include her son: Joseph (Marianne) Conte of Oneida, NY, and her daughters: Maria Murray of Chittenango, NY and Theresa (David) Halverson of Clifton Park, NY 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Services will be on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 10:00 am at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa Committal service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
