Sam died at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs on Sunday, October 25, 2009.
He was born in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was the son of the late Armand and Myrtle Wait Wilbur.
Sam was a Maintenance Equipment Operator for Saratoga County Highway Department, Ballston Spa.
He enjoyed small engine repair.
Sam was a loving father and a friend to all who knew him.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Marie Wilbur.
Survivors include his wife Caroline Palmateer Wilbur, his daughters: Brenda Wilbur of Ballston Spa, and Tammy (Leo) Senecal of Wilton, his grandsons Andrew and Benjamin Senecal.
