She was a bookkeeper for former Walter Jaskot Plumbing and Heating in Merrick, NY A Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Catherine was a member of Altar Rosary Society, Ministry of Praise, Companions on a Journey, Caring Hands. She also volunteered at Bingo and the Sacred Heart School Library. She was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Jaskot. Catherine was survived by her children Agnes Mohr, Walter Jaskot, Cathy Heeseman, her brother William Martin, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and her companion dog Poco. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Hungerford & Clark Funeral Home, 110 Pine Street, Freeport, NY A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 9:45 am at Sacred Heart Church, 720 Merrick Avenue, North Merrick.
