Obituary of Virginia A. Brown

Round Lake, NY Virginia Alleman Brown Virginia (Alleman) Brown, 90, died at home Wednesday, December 24, 2014. She was born in Washington, NJ, April 8, 1924 to parents Frederick R. and Helen (Potter) Alleman. Her love of libraries lead her to a career as a Librarian in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and ended in New Jersey at the State Library as head of the Genealogy Department. For many years she did genealogy research and missing heir searches for clients. She was a member of the Academy of Life Long Learning. Survivors include her daughter: Kathryn (Tom) Gulya of Santa Rosa, CA, her son: William Brown of Ballston Lake, her Six Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in the Village of Round Lake. In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions be made to Round Lake Library, PO Box 665, Round Lake, NY 12151.
