Ballston Spa, NY Francis "Frank" Ascenzo 79 Frank died at Maplewood Manor on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born in Ballston Spa, NY. He was the son of the late Tristano and Margaret DiBlasio Ascenzo. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Shipping Clerk for General Foods in Saratoga Springs. Frank was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa. Survivors include his sister: Caroline Holmwood and her husband Arthur of Greenfield Center and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue. Committal service with military honors will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Saratoga Springs.
