Moreau, NY Norma C. Towne 85 Norma died at Fort Hudson Nursing Center in Fort Edward on Monday, July 13, 2009. She was born in Malone, NY. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur A. and Oda Austin Carpenter. She was a School Teacher for the Glens Falls City School District, Glens Falls, NY for many years. Norma enjoyed playing her organ and music of all kinds. She also loved animals, especially her dogs. She was predeceased by her husband, James Hubert Towne, her son, Scott Towne, her brothers Frank Carpenter, Earl Carpenter, Don Carpenter and Wilbur Carpenter, her sister, Genevieve Goodspeed Survivors include her son: Gregg (Ann) Towne of Moreau, NY Her grandson, Corey Towne and several nieces and nephews Calling hours will be Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 3:00PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at Wilton Funeral Home Inc., 395 Ballard Road, Wilton, NY. The family suggests memorial contributions in Norma's name be made to Alzheimers Association of Northeastern New York, Building 4, Suite 405, Washington Ave Ext.
