Ballston Spa, NY Luella O. Dobson 76 Luella died at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs on Thursday, June 18, 2009. She was born on November 7, 1932 in Sayre, PA. She was the daughter of the late Albert W. and Leona McKinney Bassage. She worked at Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs, as a Registered Nurse. She also served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1960 The family would like to thank Dr. David Mastrianni and the staff at Saratoga Hospital A-3 and Hospice of Saratoga for their compassionate care. Survivors include her husband Thomas E. Dobson who she married on August 4, 1960, her daughters: Pamela Carian of San Antonio, TX, Teresa Dobson of Clifton Park, NY, Katherine Bortoff of Raliegh, NC, her son: Patrick Dobson of Albany; two sisters: Mary Kirsling of Albuquerque, NM, Dorris Ferris of Bellaire, MI and a brother: Winfield Bassage of Lee, NH; 6 grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews Services will be on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 8:30 am at Mevec Funeral Home Inc., 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Committal service with full military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.
